Message from Chairman, EICASA

Dear Future Chartered Accountants,

As we bid farewell to April and welcome the promising month of May, it gives me immense pleasure to address you all through this latest edition of the EICASA newsletter for the month of April. I find myself filled with a deep sense of pride, gratitude, and optimism to witness the collective spirit that defines EICASA — a spirit built on learning, leadership, and limitless aspirations.

April has been a month of remarkable activity, learning, and collective achievement. Each initiative undertaken by EICASA this month — from academic seminars to skill enhancement workshops and student engagement activities — has reaffirmed the spirit of excellence that defines our association.

The theme of the year - SANGAM

SANGAM—Simulate, Adapt, Nurture, Grow, Accelerate, Mentorship—is the central theme of EICASA 2025–26, inspired by the tagline “Where Learning Meets Leadership.” Rooted in the Sanskrit meaning confluence, SANGAM symbolizes the integration of knowledge, experience, and leadership development. It reflects a journey where students simulate real-world challenges, adapt to evolving landscapes, and are nurtured through mentorship to grow into agile, forward-thinking professionals. By accelerating both personal and professional progress, SANGAM positions EICASA as a catalyst for shaping principled and visionary Chartered Accountants.

Mock Tests & Seminars :

The Mock Test Series organised for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final students provided an invaluable platform for self-assessment and preparation. The Mentorship Programme, inaugurated earlier this month, marked an important milestone, setting a strong foundation for the leadership and teamwork that will drive the 2025–26 term. Seminars on emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, LinkedIn branding, Automation tools, and recent tax amendments provided relevant and practical insights, ensuring that our members are well-equipped for the evolving demands of the profession.

National Talent Search & Laurels in Inter-College Fests:

Participation in the National Talent Search competitions and our impressive performances across prestigious intercollege fests — including debate, business strategy, and entrepreneurial competitions — reflected the dynamic capabilities of EICASA members beyond the academic domain. It is heartening to witness the holistic development of our students, who are not only academically sound but also confident leaders of tomorrow.

Upcoming May Examinations :

As we now transition into the month of May, this period holds mindful significance for many CA aspirants. For the May 2025 examination aspirants, this is the culmination of months — if not years — of perseverance, resilience, and hard work. I encourage each one of you to maintain composure, confidence, and a focused mindset. Success in examinations is not solely a test of knowledge but a demonstration of discipline, time management, and mental fortitude. Remember that each challenge you face during this phase is shaping you into a professional who will one day guide others.

Student of the Month:

We are excited to announce the launch of the Student of the Month recognition, aimed at celebrating individuals who exemplify excellence, leadership, and active participation within the EICASA community. Each month, one student will be selected based on the criteria outlined at the end of this newsletter. This initiative highlights those who not only excel academically but also contribute meaningfully to peer learning, professional growth, and the spirit of mentorship. Let this be your motivation to lead by example—because at EICASA, every effort counts. Stay tuned for our first achiever!

Students' National Conference 2025 — RRR Returns :

For students not appearing in this examination cycle, are encouraged to actively engage in upcoming professional development activities especially with the upcoming Students' National Conference — RRR Returns — Reskill | Resolve | Rejoice.

Participation in the Students' National Conference not only offers a CA student a unique platform to build leadership and teamwork skills by taking up organizational roles but also teaches the imperativeness of working collaboratively on team-based competitions, and managing real-world challenges. Engaging with diverse peers, handling responsibilities under pressure, learning from experienced professionals enhances their ability to communicate effectively, solve problems, and lead with confidence — qualities essential for their future careers.

Continuous learning and proactive participation are key differentiators in today’s dynamic professional environment. EICASA remains committed to offering

As we draw nearer to the end of this message,

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your unwavering enthusiasm, commitment, and passion. I find myself overwhelmed with a strong sense of pride, gratitude, and sincere appreciation for what lies ahead for all of us at EICASA.

Moreover, I urge all members to continue embracing a growth mindset — to seek excellence, to adapt with resilience, and to lead with integrity.

To leave you with a final thought,

Let us move forward into May with a renewed purpose — to reskill, an unwavering determination — to resolve and an unshakeable commitment to ourselves — to rejoice.

Wishing each and every student the very best for the month ahead.

Warm Regards,

CA Mayur Agrawal
